How can it almost be July already. We are half way through the year, it will be Christmas before me know it.

Today though I slowed down and reached for my watercolour and bullet journal. Taking the colours from the collage sheet designed by my green cow exclusively for this months lollipop box, I wanted to create my background to look like colour swatches.

I really enjoy cutting out all the elements from the sheet, it’s so relaxing. I left a little white border around each element and a little tip is to move the paper whilst cutting around each element. I find this easier, especially around any fiddly pieces.

Once all the elements have been cut out, I placed them onto my pages, moving them around until I was happy with the placement and layering. I glued them all into place.

I used my metallic watercolours to add the July header and a few paint splatters, I almost made it without any splatters 🤣

I added the days of the month to the boxes just in the corner with my micron pen to complete my layout. I love how my pages have turned out and I’m ready to see what July has in store.
